Last Friday, I attended the ActionCOACH Dorset GrowthCLUB at Hotel du Vin in Poole, hosted by Simon Ells and Duncan Mckechnie, and it proved to be a valuable day away from the day-to-day demands of running a business.

With more than 25 local business owners and leaders in the room, the atmosphere was welcoming, supportive and full of positive energy. What I particularly appreciated was the balance of support, insight and accountability. The day was informative and productive without feeling too heavy or intense. It offered the perfect opportunity to step back from working in the business and spend time working on the business. Too often business owners get caught up in the day-to-day. GrowthCLUB provided the space, structure and support to step back, think strategically and leave with a clear plan for the next quarter.
